Day 1 - 3
Upon arrival at Kamuzu International Airport, board a domestic to Mfuwe,
Kafunta River Lodge, enjoy game viewing activities.

Luangwa National Park
Malawi is fortunate to be a gateway to this beautiful park in Zambia,
"the Valley of the Elephants", one of the finest game viewing
areas in all of Africa. South Luangwa is the better known of the parks
in Zambia, with an extensive network of roads and lodges it offers a unique
wilderness experience. The valley is teaming with a large variety of game.
Large herds of buffalo (said be to the largest in Africa) and also elephants
are one of the major attractions of the valley. There is a wide variety
of wildlife, probably the best in central Africa. This park has numerous
lions, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, elephants various types of antelope
and birds.

4
Road Transfer to Lilongwe and overnight at Kumbali Lodge which offers
you one of the few natural forests and a spectacular view from the hills
of the Capital Hill Dairy Farm across to Nkhoma Mountain, which completes
the picturesque setting of this country lodge.
Day
5 & 6
Early morning transfer to Cape Maclear for onward transfer to Mumbo Island
where you will stay at Kayak Africa. Mumbo Island is a pristine and deserted
tropical island, and the undisputed jewel of the Lake Malawi National
Park. Mumbo Island has never been populated, and is still in its natural
state with a thick covering of miombo woodland and ancient fig and baobab
trees.

7 & 8
You will be picked up by Danforth Yachting from Mumbo Island and overnight
on board the yacht "Mufasa" The Mufasa is a fully equipped and
crewed ocean going catamaran, which sleeps eight guests in comfort and
style. The layout includes two bathrooms, four double cabins, 2 crew berths,
saloon, galley, cockpit under shade bimini and a dive platform. Mufusa
is the only ocean-going, live aboard yacht on Lake Malawi. Be as active
or as relaxed as you choose. Patient and encouraging water sports instructors
give expert tuition for waterskiing, wakeboarding, snorkeling and sailing

9 & 10
Drop off at Likoma Island where Manda Wilderness will do a boat transfer
on day 9 to Nkwichi Lodge where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of
Northern Niassa and experience Malawian culture in the local village.
Day
11 & 12
Transfer by boat to Likoma Island overnight at Kaya Mawa where you will
enjoy seculded luxury in traditional surroundings and enjoy activities
such as safaris on traditional dhow sailing craft and dug-out canoes.
The beach is home to several imported boats: laser, windsurfer and there
is water-skiing and wake-boarding, all with instruction available. Fishing
rods are also available.

After breakfast transfers back to Lilongwe Airport for onward connection
home.
